Farewell Mr Ward!
24 05 2007Yet another busy half term for Y2. They all worked very hard during SAT’s week and thoroughly enjoyed the performance of “Oliver Twist†by the visiting theatre company. The children are ready for a rest! Please check the website for a couple of photographs of the children dressed up in their finery and of Mr Ward of course who really looked the part!
Speaking of Mr Ward, it is his last day on Friday and all of Y2 are very sad to see him go. The children have enjoyed his lessons and think he is a fabulous teacher. They have especially enjoyed all the creative lessons and getting very messy! Not so sure the mums have enjoyed that bit though! Mr Ward has established a wonderful rapport with all the children and has been great. The only thing he needs to work on is ensuring he supports the right football team.
Next week instead of having a holiday Mrs Brankin and Mrs Reed said they are going back to university to learn how to teach because they have forgotten! Never!
Anyway we wish Mr Ward well for the future and hope he keeps in touch and visits the website often.
