Oh what a busy week we are having so far and it’s only Tuesday!
We have been making Joseph’s coat cutting out patterns and stitching stripes on. Luke has really enjoyed this activity! Eleanor and Hannah were really lucky having Eleanor’s mummy on hand to help them make their Joseph’s coat.
We have been making Easter baskets and Easter cards. Callum’s mummy had a fine time helping the children make the baskets. The children had to measure accurately and also use a repeated pattern.
Mrs Johnson, Michael’s mum from Y5 has had a lovely time on the Mothers day card table. I can’t say anymore about this table as it’s a bit secret until Sunday!
The diaries are starting to come along nicely now too with a couple of days activities listed and the Joseph writing table, well what can I say, Tia can hardly fit anymore on her page!
I will keep you updated as the week progresses and our fantastic army of mums and grandmas keep arriving!
Have a look at the photographs on phanfare (see link below) for Y2 DT Week.

Bring in your work and you never know, as well as gaining some more team points you may well have your story published on the website too! It doesn’t have to be long just exciting!
Once upon a time there were 24 happy, giggly children. The children all went to a lovely little school nestled in farmland down a narrow tree lined country lane. The children were in the same class and their classroom was very bright and cheerful with lots of interesting things dangling from the ceiling. They had two teachers, one had blonde hair and giggled merrily and the other had dark hair and sang and danced a lot. One day……
