Happy New Year to you all! We wish you and your family and friends a healthy, happy and peaceful year! We are looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday and hearing all about your Christmas. Don’t forget your Christmas diary if you have completed it!

We would also like to say a massive thank you to you and your parents for the beautiful cards, kind wishes and gifts that we received. To say that we were all overwhelmed by your generosity is an understatement! We can’t thank you enough.

Hello Y2, we are halfway through our first term together and it has been lovely to see how well you have all settled into Y2 life. We have had a very busy half term and have learned many things including familiar stories, becoming authors and illustrators of our very own familiar story book! We have looked at poetry and especially enjoyed the poem Wrigglebum John! During Numeracy we have partitioned numbers, looked at doubles and near doubles and learned all important number bonds. In between all that we have also managed to fit in PE, music, art, topic, science, RE, ICT and SEAL related work! Gosh, no wonder we were all ready for a break!
Hope you have had a lovely week off and look forward to seeing you all tomorrow all bright eyed and bushy tailed!!
